THE GOAL

Revolutionizing the way to restore a photograph

RESTORE aims to be a mobile application in which people can feel happy when restoring a low quality, broken or old photo. However, the restoration is not everything, also the design of the application must be somewhat minimalist and easy to use.

THE CONCEPT

Atomic Design

Using a methodology that proposes to build the interface based on a small group of atomic components and a set of rules to group them into increasingly complex components.

THE DESIGN SYSTEM

Building a system that scales

I approached the design system atomically, creating atoms, molecules and organisms that build on each other. My goal here was to establish a system that would be efficient for designers and at the same time digestible for developers building the site in React. Knowing that this would become a client-side sanctioned site, I was meticulous in documenting the system and strategically building agency-level components in a way that could be used in many different scenarios.

THE NAVIGATION

Defining a structure

Because RESTORE is a Mobile App, it was essential that it provide a seamless browsing experience for browsing. Opt for a structure that might be familiar throughout the site, but provided enough distinction to convey to the user in what part of the site they are viewing
